America – No Longer the World’s Education Leader!
The United States used to be number one in the world of their graduates from 25 to 34 years. Now it ranks only 12 among 36 industrialized countries.
“The lack of education but increasingly long-term threat to our nation’s well-being than the current financial crisis,” Gaston Caperton, president of the College Board, warned at a meeting of education officials and policy makers on Capitol Hill. He has also increased to a report on recommendations “think P-16 and improve the education from kindergarten to higher [one]” published graduation rates. Continue reading
Women’s Education
World Education has developed a long track record with local partners to implement, manage and evaluate participation, social initiatives to promote the conditions of girls and women. World Education programs help girls enroll and stay in school and help the women to access or create new educational resources, financial and social in their communities. Education programs to provide global support to girls and women to improve their own lives, the lives of their families and the conditions in their communities. For parents – especially mothers – means the creation of conditions that their daughters have to ensure equal access to basic education, are able to make informed decisions about their future and are able to protect themselves against trafficking, sexual exploitation, HIV and AIDS, for example.
